Ukrainian Drones Launch Massive Strikes on Russian Infrastructure: Nightly Results and Domestic Protests

Ukrainian drones strike Russian logistics and key plants, spark airport disruption, while protests continue over anti-corruption agency reforms.

Last night, Ukrainian drones carried out a massive attack on logistical targets in Russia's Krasnodar region and other areas. The strikes caused an aviation collapse at several airports, including Vladikavkaz, Grozny, Magas, Mineralnye Vody, Nalchik, Stavropol, Sochi, and Tambov. In addition, Ukrainian drones targeted the Tambov gunpowder plant and carried out over 20 strikes on the Nevinnomyssk chemical plant, which produces components for explosives and solid rocket fuel used by the Russian military.

In the Rostov region, strikes on railway infrastructure led to train delays, despite Russian officials stating there was no significant damage. Ukraine has now adopted daily drone strikes on targets within Russian territory.

Meanwhile, protests continue in Ukraine against attempts to undermine the independence of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP). President Volodymyr Zelensky has submitted a new draft law restoring the previous status of these agencies and introducing mandatory polygraph tests for employees with access to state secrets. Demonstrators continue to urge the Verkhovna Rada to consider the legislation promptly.

In parliament, some deputies have acknowledged mistakes and expressed support for the reforms. The protests have remained peaceful, highlighting strong civic engagement even under martial law.

On the frontline, the military situation remains difficult. Russian forces have intensified attacks in the Pokrovsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, with forced evacuations in several districts of Donetsk region. Ukrainian troops are receiving new batches of FPV drones for defense, thanks to volunteers and public support.

International partners, including the US and EU countries, have approved significant military aid packages for Ukraine. This raises hopes for stronger defenses, but the situation at the front remains tense.
