Russian attacks on Ukraine and Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian targets: frontline situation and support for the Armed Forces

Review of Russian nighttime attacks on Ukrainian cities, strikes on Russian military targets, situation in Pokrovsk, and importance of supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Last night, Russia once again launched missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian civilians, targeting Sumy region, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk. In Dnipropetrovsk, the Epicenter hypermarket was hit. Ukrainian rescuers demonstrated bravery, shielding civilians during some of the attacks.

The goal of these Russian strikes is to instill fear and uncertainty among Ukrainians. At the same time, Ukraine continues retaliatory strikes on Russia's military-industrial facilities. Drones attacked important sites in Stavropol, such as the "Signal" radio plant, and possibly Stiltsoft, which supports Russian defense production.

Russia itself has also experienced recent tragedies: the collapse of a residential building in Saratov due to a gas explosion and the crash of an An-24 plane with all passengers and crew killed. Experts link these events to underinvestment in infrastructure and aging technology, as war expenses are prioritized over domestic needs.

On the frontline, Pokrovsk remains one of the toughest areas for Ukrainian forces. Ukrainian soldiers appeal for donations that allow them to procure more FPV, anti-aircraft, and strike drones. Charitable fundraising actively supports multiple units, supplying essential equipment for national defense.

Even small donations make a significant difference: ongoing support enables the military to receive hundreds of drones daily. In the last 24 hours, more than 585 FPV drones were delivered, and support continues to grow.

The article also addresses Russia's stance on peace talks — Moscow insists on unilateral conditions including Ukraine's capitulation. Nevertheless, Ukrainian leaders maintain resistance, while society stays mobilized in support of defense.
