Last night, Russia launched a series of terrorist attacks on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure, including in Mykolaiv Region and Kamianske in Dnipropetrovsk Region. The attacks resulted in casualties, injuries, and damage to a medical facility. In Zaporizhzhia, airstrikes on a correctional facility killed 17 inmates and wounded more than 40. The aim of these attacks is both to intimidate Ukrainians and to demonstrate power in response to international ultimatums.
At the same time, Ukrainian drones struck temporarily occupied Donetsk and targets inside Russia, causing damage to transport and military infrastructure. In Rostov Region, a freight train was destroyed and rail traffic was halted. Additionally, unidentified hackers attacked Aeroflot’s IT infrastructure, which led to flight delays and millions in losses for the company.
The Russian economy remains under pressure: a ban on gasoline exports, difficulties in industry, and shortened working hours at major factories. Political tension persists as Russia’s leadership is not willing to end the war but is struggling to sustain it effectively.
International reaction: Donald Trump has shortened his ultimatum deadline to Russia, and further sanctions are likely. The Russian government is not compromising, while Russian officials threaten escalation, including new attacks against Ukraine’s air defenses.
Support for Ukrainian forces remains crucial—thanks to volunteer assistance, Ukrainian units are receiving new FPV drones and components for defense and counterattacks. Citizens are encouraged to support defenders and participate in charitable initiatives.
