Support for Delegates in the Public Anti-Corruption Council at the Ministry of Defense: Election Results and Challenges

The community supported candidates for the Public Anti-Corruption Council at the Ministry of Defense, despite limited resources and new challenges.

Delegates supported by the public participated in the elections to the Public Anti-Corruption Council at Ukraine's Ministry of Defense. Nomination of candidates was done in the final hours before the deadline, through volunteer and military communities. Despite lack of time and resources, five candidates were nominated and gained significant backing, particularly among veterans, volunteers, and military personnel.

The main winning team took first place, while the delegates' team confidently secured second place according to the vote results, which saw thousands of servicemembers and citizens participate. This is a major achievement, considering the modest campaign capabilities and limited media recognition of the candidates.

The elected representatives now face increased responsibility due to heightened public and military attention. The author encouraged polygraph tests for council members to ensure transparency and absence of lobbying. The fight for results and change is described as daily work, not simply about attaining positions. Council members are urged to protect the rights of the military and remain worthy of the trust placed in them.
