Ukraine as a Security Factor in Europe: Experts Discuss Putin’s Strategy and China’s Role

Discussion about Putin's impact on Europe, China's geopolitical ambitions, and Ukraine's significance for continental security.

Experts note that Vladimir Putin, operating with a special operations mindset, is counting on parallel processes of chaos in Europe and the United States. It is believed that the Russian Federation is interested in destabilizing the internal situation in EU and NATO countries, and events like anti-government protests in France are at least partially coordinated by Russian intelligence.

Putin also seeks to leverage this chaos to strengthen his position in negotiations with China, aiming to be an intermediary or control conquered territories to prevent China from gaining complete dominance in the region. At the same time, experts argue that China wants to drive the United States out of Europe and needs Russia as a proxy force to pursue this goal.

Ukraine's role in European security is underlined by its combat experience, modern technologies, and cooperation with European partners, especially Poland and the Baltic states. In practice, Ukraine has become a crucial security factor for the continent, matching Western countries in intelligence and analysis.

However, to maintain subjectivity and national interests, closer regional cooperation with neighbors and a proactive security policy are necessary. Despite challenges such as the presence of Russian agents and complex relations with some neighbors, Ukraine is destined to play a key role in defending Europe.
