Overview of current events: drone attacks on Ukraine and Europe, Donald Trump's statements, NATO exercises, sanctions, and UN General Assembly news.

On September 13, the situation in Europe remains tense due to the 'Zapad 2025' military exercises in Belarus, causing concern among European partners. Russian drones entered Ukraine’s Volyn region, and Poland scrambled its air force, while foreign air defense systems have been put on high alert. NATO is moving troops to Lithuania.

Drone attacks on Ukraine continue. In Kostiantynivka, three people were killed and six injured due to shelling. Russian air bombs and artillery regularly target Ukrainian cities. In response, Ukraine launched attacks on facilities in Bashkiria and Primorsk port, damaging tankers and halting port operations.

Donald Trump, in an open letter, declared his readiness to impose tough sanctions on Russia only if NATO countries act in unity and highlighted China's role. The US will enforce new sanctions on September 16 against companies from China, Turkey, UAE, and others that aid the Russian defense industry.

According to the Ukrainian General Staff, the situation around Kupyansk is under control, and access to pipelines, which Russians tried to use to infiltrate the city, is restricted.

Europe continues discussions on increasing sanctions against Russia. EU representative Kaja Kallas emphasized that territorial concessions by Ukraine for peace are unacceptable.

NATO launched the Grand Eagle 25 exercise to transfer troops to Lithuania, strengthening regional security. The Kaliningrad region has seen the display of Russian missile systems.

At the UN General Assembly, 142 countries supported a declaration establishing Palestine and ending the war in Gaza. The European Court canceled the EU’s permit for Russia to build a nuclear power plant in Hungary. These events reflect different Western approaches to security and cooperation amid the Russian threat.
