The United States currently is not considering providing Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. The final decision, according to Donald Trump, depends on future political steps. Trump confirmed this stance and stated the war between Russia and Ukraine could end in two to three months but noted that “they need to keep fighting.”
Overnight, Russian forces attacked Sumy region with drones, killing one person and injuring three others who received medical attention. In Mykolaiv, a supermarket and a car service station were set on fire as a result of another Russian attack, and residential buildings suffered damage; fortunately, no casualties were reported. In Dnipro, a rocket strike damaged a local enterprise. Ukraine’s air defense intercepted 116 hostile targets overnight, including Kinzhal missiles, Iskander-M, S-300/S-400 missiles, and drones.
The situation in the Pokrovsk direction remains tense — Russian forces have advanced near Pokrovsk and Pryvilne. According to experts, Ukraine may have virtually lost Pokrovsk and evacuation of personnel and equipment is needed. Russia has deployed significant military resources to capture the city.
Ukrainian drones struck the Saratov oil refinery in Russia overnight, temporarily restricting airport operations in Saratov. This marks the fourth such strike on the facility this autumn.
In the “60 Minutes” program on SBC News, Trump reiterated that he is not planning to provide Ukraine with long-range missiles for now, nor does he support the confiscation of frozen Russian assets in Europe at the moment. On nuclear testing, under Trump’s administration, technical tests are planned with no nuclear detonations.
Trump also commented on the Middle East and Venezuela, claiming that the issues with Hamas and Venezuela could be resolved quickly if the US chooses to act decisively. He does not recognize Maduro as Venezuela’s legitimate president.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced readiness to supply weapons to European countries, which may subsequently transfer them to Ukraine. Serbia will not impose restrictions on such deals, and Vučić emphasized his competitive position in the arms market.
