Over the past day, Ukrainian defense forces launched a series of attacks on Russian infrastructure, striking the Saratov and Orsk oil refineries and the Stavrolen plant in Budyonnovsk. In temporarily occupied Donetsk region, the Starobesheve thermal power station was also hit. These UAV strikes have a significant economic and social impact inside Russia, prompting new restrictions on mobile internet and messengers, and an increased recruitment of reservists to counter drones.
Meanwhile, the situation on the frontline remains difficult: in the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops have advanced, occupying several settlements at the junction of Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions. Problems with unit coordination, shortages of infantry, drones, and adequate supplies hinder defense efforts. Some soldiers point to cases of misinformation about the real situation on the front lines. Commanders stress the need for honest assessment and military reform to prevent further territorial losses.
Ukrainian volunteers and charitable foundations continue to support the army, providing FPV drones and interceptors. Frontline defenders thank supporters and urge society not to stay silent about army issues. Only change, reform, and continued support can ensure resilience in the face of war.
