Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed he plans to meet Donald Trump in Florida on December 28 to discuss security guarantees and economic cooperation. Ukraine is preparing several documents on security and economic matters. Zelensky stated that while the peace agreement is almost ready, its signing depends on the format of high-level meetings and final decisions.
Ukraine is also working on election organization, considering a hybrid voting model (online and offline) amid challenges such as damaged and occupied polling stations. The possible participation of sanctioned individuals in the elections is under review.
The front-line situation remains tense, especially in Huliaipole and Kharkiv areas. An attack in Kharkiv resulted in casualties, and a Russian drone entered Moldova's airspace. Simultaneously, attacks on Ukrainian rail infrastructure continue.
On the global stage, China is imposing sanctions on the US over arms sales to Taiwan. Zelensky emphasizes that decisions on key issues should be made collectively and submitted to a referendum.
