Trump's Policy: Global Uncertainty, Pressure on Russia and New Order for the US

Analysis of Trump’s approach: new measures against Russia, Venezuela policy, scandals in the US, Greenland issue and defense budget changes.

Donald Trump's policy has proven not to be isolationist, but aimed at strengthening the US position globally. Trump seeks to impose a new order, acting ambitiously and often chaotically.

One notable issue has been the introduction of high tariffs for countries buying Russian oil. Recently, a third tanker transporting Russian oil in circumvention of sanctions was detained. This development could significantly impact Russia, as the US and Europe continue their crackdown on shadow supply chains.

The Venezuelan situation is also in focus. The US aims to control oil flows, while Venezuela in return is expected to purchase American goods. US politicians stress the need for democratic reforms in Venezuela as part of the process.

Internally, the US faces conflicts, such as a scandal around the killing of an American citizen by immigration services. This incident hurts Trump’s rating and may threaten his re-election or prompt attempts to influence the election process.

The Greenland issue raises tension between the US and Denmark and within NATO. America seeks greater presence on the island for national security reasons while Denmark protects its sovereignty.

The defense sector saw Trump harshly criticize military producers, causing stock prices to drop sharply. However, he soon called for increasing the defense budget to 1.5 trillion dollars.

For Ukraine, it is important to take a constructive stance towards the US, defend sovereignty and pursue reforms for European integration. The US situation remains unstable, with global implications for Europe and beyond.
