Frontline Situation Overview: Russian Offensive, Strikes on Crimea and Kuban, and Military Support Needs

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct regular strikes on key targets in the so-called Russian Federation. Recently, there have been reports of attacks in the Kuban region and the "Nevinnomyssky Azot" plant in Stavropol Krai, which has previously been hit by Ukrainian drones. This facility plays an important role in the production of rocket fuel and explosives.

In the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, drones allegedly targeted the building of the Almaz-Antey concern, one of Russia’s key defense industry enterprises. Meanwhile, Russians marked the anniversary of the attempted annexation of Crimea.

On the frontline, over the past two days, Russian forces have increased offensive actions in the eastern direction, spanning a front of about 100 kilometers from Rodynske to Hulyaipole. The enemy is using armored vehicles, cars, and even horses, but so far has not achieved significant breakthroughs. Ukrainian troops note intense drone activity and report an urgent need for FPV drones.

Among the reasons for recent changes in battle intensity are a decrease in the influx of volunteers into the Russian army, heavy losses, and a deliberate reduction in activity to accumulate resources before a new offensive. Russia’s objectives remain the capture of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, yet their current forces are insufficient.

Russian informational activity is also increasing — their claims of controlling settlements often do not match reality. Overall, the situation from Rodynske to Hulyaipole remains difficult but is described as controlled by the Ukrainian side.

Middle Eastern events have impacted the situation: reciprocal strikes between Israel and Iran have driven up energy prices, providing additional revenues to Russia's budget, although Russia’s overall economy is in decline.

Ukrainian military and volunteer organizations appeal to the public to support fundraising for drones, vehicles, and other equipment to improve defense. In recent weeks, dozens of drones and vehicles have been supplied to different Ukrainian Armed Forces units, providing tangible support.

Given the new phase of Russian offensive actions, military and security aid for Ukraine is now more important than ever.
