The Ukrainian Defense Forces have launched a series of drone attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation. Last night, strikes targeted an oil refinery in Saratov, causing power outages and concern among local residents amid ongoing hostilities.
Another attack struck Togliatti in Russia’s Samara region, damaging "TogliattiAzot," one of the world's largest ammonia producers. The facility manufactures ammonia and other products used for military purposes, including rocket fuel and explosives.
Over the past day, Ukrainian drones also exhausted Moscow's air defense, forcing airport closures and resulting in friendly fire incidents, with Russians shooting down their own civilian aircraft.
Volunteer campaigns continue to raise funds for new drones to support Ukrainian units. Russian authorities' restrictions on mobile internet and messaging apps have not prevented drone operations and have added to public discontent in Russia.
On the frontline, Russian troops have begun a new offensive campaign but have made little progress while suffering heavy losses. In Kupiansk, surrounded Russian troops were reportedly eliminated, while Ukrainian forces scored successful hits on Russian helicopters and received new FPV drones through donations.
Ukrainian defenders urge further public support to strengthen defense and expand drone operations.
