In response to Russian terrorist attacks, Ukraine's security and defense forces delivered massive strikes on targets within the Russian Federation. Notably, explosions were reported in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region as a result of drone attacks on Russian military installations.
A significant incident took place in the Moscow suburb of Naro-Fominsk, where Ukrainian drones targeted the NARA industrial-logistics complex belonging to Russia’s Defense Ministry. This facility is used for the storage and distribution of military cargo. The damage assessment is still being clarified.
Meanwhile, in Perm, Ukrainian drones once again struck the oil refinery and line-dispatch pumping station, causing a large fire and further damaging Russia’s oil infrastructure.
Russia is anticipating potential further attacks during the May 9 military parade, involving even Ukrainian children from occupied territories in preparations. Ukrainian officials have stated that any response will be determined by developments, as Russia has answered ceasefire proposals with renewed strikes.
Despite Moscow's threats of further attacks against Kyiv, Ukraine continues to rely on drones to defend its territory and save lives. Ukrainian soldiers thank civil society for its continued support, emphasizing the importance of donations to bolster defense capability. The frontline situation remains difficult, but drones continue to provide Ukraine with a key advantage.
